Is anyone else aware of how close June is?

I have a couple dozen paintings that I have been looking forward to sharing. I keep the compositions as simple as possible with a heavy emphasis on rectangle, square and triangle designs. I find them so relaxing and easy to absorb. As per usual, I have kept the palette to a minimum, focusing on warm golden tones found in the pages of the books. In many of the upcoming paintings I have added small accents of color in reds, blues and green.

  1. Kenzie says:

These are wonderful. The subtle natural lighting complements the subject matter.

  2. I agree, these are great. They’re very serene and calm – I’m always amazed how you can put so few objects and colours together yet create such captivating paintings. It’s really impressive.

  3. Hi! Christopher Stott,
I have to second the “notion” both paintings are very…“beautiful.”
(simplistic, but yet very pleasing to the “eye”)
Therefore, I’am not “surprised” at all that both painting are sold already.
    Thanks, for sharing!
